Three years ago 20 years
old female came to our hospital with the complaint of protruding front teeth and cleft lip on the upper jaw.
Diagnostic CT images
showed mild cleft in the palate and cleft lip.
Upper and lower jaw
were proclined.
She wanted to get it
corrected.
Our soorya dental care
team of oral surgeons headed by Dr.TK.Prabhu, made the treatment plan and
decided to do Orthognathic surgery and cleft lip closure.
Orthodontic treatment
was done in the beginning and teeth were aligned by Dr.Tk.Prabhu.
Later surgery was
performed by Dr.Dharmesh.
Patient was very
satisfied with the outcome and she was under review every 6 month by our team.
Her upper lateral teeth
was missing and we decided to replace it with dental implants.
We removed the root
fragment and placed an immediate implant and gave immediate temporary teeth.
